Many of you will know that I work with the charity “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep”, providing remembrance photography for families who loose a baby thru stillbirth or neo-natal death. We work alongside Feileacain (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Association of Ireland) and together we had a stand at the recent Joint Midwives Annual Conference in Ballyconnell, Co.Cavan. We had a great response and it was fantastic to get to speak to so many midwives directly – and to let them know about the work we do. The feedback was wonderful and very positive – as the midwives could see the profound benefits that our photography can have on bereaved families. We look forward to being busier than ever now – and being able to help even more families at this difficult time in their lives.
